Should i just let it go?

Me and this girl have been dating for three years on and off she is my first everything but we are currently not together and i hate it. Every since we broke up she has became a party girl she smokes alot n drinks even more. I want to be with her again but she doesnt want the same thing. She tells me she wants to be with me too but i feel like she just wants to be single and flirt her actions definitely speak louder than her words. Should i just finally let her go or should i wait for her? I dont want to be played like a fool if she doesnt want the same thing that i want but i dont want to give up on something beautiful. She is really playing with my mine sometimes i beileve we would last but other times i just wnat to give up I dont know what my heart wants me to do. Please help!!!!!
