What are your thoughts on the "Missile" seen?

Right now I'm content with the explanation that it's an airplane. Based on the angle it could have been mistaken for a missile. If the Pentagon knows that it's a missile and chooses for whatever reason not to divulge that, then they are doing so as not to cause general panic among the population. I have enough faith in our defense that I'm sure they are working non-stop until they figure out what it was. But, no matter what, this will be fodder for conspiracy theorists for a long time.
