Will i seem desperate if i do this?

okayy sinch valentines day is coming up, when i am around my guy friend (i like him a lot ) im gunna be like ' aw man valentines day is coming up and i dont have a valentine' then out loud ' hmmmm i wonder who will be my valentine?' then i will drop hints and smile at him lol.... will what do u think?
