Is it that bad to live in florida?

I live in Florida, almost all my life, and I personally love it. Its true its more expensive but its just a completely different culture. I lived in NJ (no offense) for 6 mths and was completely MISERABLE!! Everyone (that I saw) dressed in drab colors and never smiled, no one spoke to eachother, skies were always gray, and it was so cold!!! In FL, its easy to make friends..everyone seems so much happier!! Yes, its harder to get jobs...depending on what your career is. Florida does have a bad rap, but thats only bc people watch the news and only see the bad things...which happen in every state. What about all the good that happens here? You need to make yourself happy!!! There are places here that are cheaper than others...so you just need to think about the area you want to live in. Do some research and go from there.
