How long should I keep coughing b4 I see a dr again? ?

Tomorrow is thanksgiving and I will be around the family. I am afraid I will be making everyone sick or nervous. I have acute bronchitis X 2 weeks. I have feel ok except that I cough so much i feel dizzy and my head starts to hurt from the pressure of coughing so hard and long and i hear the congestion but it feels like I can not get it out. When I do the sputum is mostly clear except in the mornings when its yellowish and thick. I feel lightheaded from all the coughing. I have tried Mucinex, Nyquil, cough drops, lots of water, rest, soups, Tylenol plus cold. Nothing is working and I am having trouble sleeping now from all the coughing. What in the world is going on? I usually kick these nasty bugs by now. I do not know how long I should wait before I go back to the doctor and tell him that this is not working. I was not prescribed antibiotics obviously. I dont know if I should go to a primacare of something and see if I have pneumonia. Any advice?
